Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the GhorLagbee applications (Client App and Owner App), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features of the service, you must register for an account (e.g., via Google Sign-In or Email). You must provide accurate and complete information, including your real full name and a valid, verified phone number. This information is essential for the security and integrity of the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

3. Responsibilities and Consent

By using GhorLagbee, you understand and agree that the platform facilitates housing transactions by connecting owners and clients. To enable this, you consent to your contact information (specifically your Name and Phone Number) being displayed to other registered users who are relevant to your property inquiries or listings.

3.1 Owner App Users (Landlords/Managers)

  • You must have the legal right to list and rent the properties you add to the platform.
  • All property information, including photos, prices, and availability, must be accurate and kept up-to-date.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable local housing laws and regulations.

3.2 Client App Users (Tenants/Searchers)

  • You agree to use the platform in good faith to search for genuine housing.
  • You understand that landlords may see your name and contact details when you inquire about a property.
  • You will not use contact information obtained from the platform for spam or unsolicited communications.

4. Communications and Notifications

By creating an account and using our service, you agree that we may send you communications including push notifications, in-app messages, emails, and SMS regarding updates, alerts, and promotions. You can opt out of push notifications at any time by adjusting your device settings or via the notification settings within the app.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
  • Upload or transmit any content that is fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise offensive.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service or the servers or networks used to make the service available.

6. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of GhorLagbee and its licensors.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GhorLagbee, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service. GhorLagbee acts solely as a platform to connect owners and clients; we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the properties listed.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
